About Lesson
Creating Sunrays Background in CorelDRAW
- Create a Radial Gradient:
- Draw an ellipse.
- Fill it with a radial gradient, starting with a bright yellow in the center and transitioning to a lighter yellow or white at the edges.
- Distort the Shape:
- Use the Envelope tool or the Warp tool to distort the ellipse, creating a more organic shape that resembles the sun.
- Add Lines:
- Draw multiple lines radiating outward from the center of the sun.
- Vary the line thickness and length for a more natural look.
- Apply Effects:
- Transparency: Adjust the opacity of the lines to create a sense of depth.
- Blurs: Apply a slight Gaussian Blur to the lines to soften their edges.
- Glows: Add a subtle Outer Glow to the sun and the lines for a more radiant effect.
Tips:
- Experiment: Try different gradient colors (orange, red) and line styles to achieve various sunray effects.
- Layers: Use layers to organize the sun, lines, and effects for easy editing.
- Background: Place the sunrays on a contrasting background (dark blue, purple) to enhance the effect.
