Setting Bleed & Margin Using Default Settings in CorelDRAW
1. Create a New Document:
- Open a new document in CorelDRAW.
2. Select a Preset:
- In the New Document dialog box, choose a preset that includes the desired bleed and margin values.
- Common presets include “US Letter (with Bleed)” or “A4 (with Bleed)”.
3. Create the Document:
- Click Create. CorelDRAW will automatically set the bleed and margin according to the chosen preset.
4. Verify Settings (Optional):
- Go to File > Document Setup to verify the exact bleed and margin values.
5. Use the Guides:
- CorelDRAW will automatically create guides to indicate the bleed and margin boundaries.
- Ensure your content stays within the margin area and extends to the bleed edge.
Tips:
- Review the preset’s bleed and margin values to ensure they meet your printing requirements.
- You can always adjust the bleed and margin values manually after selecting a preset.
By using a preset, you can quickly set up your document with common bleed and margin values, saving time and ensuring consistency.
