1. Create a New Document:

2. Access Document Setup:

3. Define Page Size:

4. Set Bleed and Margin:
- Bleed:
- Enter the desired bleed value (e.g., 0.125 inches) in the Bleed fields for all four sides (Top, Bottom, Left, Right).
- Bleed is the extra area that gets trimmed off during printing to ensure no white edges appear.
- Margin:
- Enter the desired margin values (e.g., 0.5 inches) in the Margin fields for all four sides.
- Margins define the safe area for your content to prevent it from being trimmed.
5. Click OK:
- Click OK to apply the settings and create the document.
6. Use the Guides:
- CorelDRAW will automatically create guides to indicate the bleed and margin boundaries.
- Ensure your content stays within the margin area and extends to the bleed edge.
Tips:
- Always check with your printer for their specific bleed and margin requirements.
- Use the Guides to accurately place your content.
- Consider using a Color to distinguish the bleed and margin areas for better visibility.
By following these steps, you can precisely set bleed and margin values in CorelDRAW, ensuring your printed documents have professional-looking edges and avoid any unwanted trimming.
