Eligibility Requirements for Latvia Government Scholarships 2025
To be considered for the Latvia Government Scholarships 2025, you note the following application conditions;
- An applicant must choose a study program at a Latvian HEI prior to the application for a scholarship;
- An applicant must receive the confirmation letter for the chosen study program from the Latvian HEI prior to the application for a scholarship;
- An applicant, who is already studying at a Latvian HEI, should also receive the confirmation letter for the present or chosen study program prior to the application for a scholarship;
- The confirmation letter for the chosen study program from a Latvian HEI needs to be provided by the designated contact person.
- The international student can receive a Latvian state scholarship for a maximum of two terms during their studies.

- Bachelor’s students who have already successfully completed at least 1 academic year at any higher education institution (HEI);
