How to Apply for University of Padua Scholarship

Nationality:

• Applicants must not possess Italian citizenship (with an exception for dual citizenship including Italian).

Educational Background:

• Applicants must hold a non-Italian foreign secondary school diploma (for Bachelor’s or Single-cycle degrees) or a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s degrees) that allows admission to the Italian University system.

Residency:

• Applicants must not reside in Italy.

Program of Study:

• Applicants must apply for one or more English-taught degree programs offered at the University of Padua.

Academic Merit:

• Applicants must demonstrate strong academic records and achievements. The scholarship is highly selective.

Language Proficiency:

• English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent) may be required.

Additional Considerations:

• For some scholarships, especially those provided through the Veneto Region funding, there are requirements relating to the family income of the applicant.
• Applicants must not be receiving other scholarships.

Benefits of University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship

• The scholarship may include both the exemption of tuition fees and a €8,000 subsistence allowance, as well as free or discounted student services such as accommodation, meals at university canteens, etc.
• Duration of scholarships: scholarships will be offered for one academic year, provided that you meet certain conditions (academic achievements, number of credits etc.). The request must be renewed every academic year.
